Mission

Poverty Resolutions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the eradication of dollar-a-day poverty. We educate Americans to increase awareness of global poverty and to inspire them to take action. In Haiti, we provide sustainable solutions to poverty, which empower individuals and organizations to meet the needs of their communities.

Founders

Andrew and Matt Jones founded Poverty Resolutions after traveling to Haiti in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake. They observed firsthand the extreme situation in which people live, and decided to dedicate themselves to telling others in America about the needs of people in poverty around the world.

Poverty Awareness

Poverty Resolutions has developed a variety of educational programs and materials intended to illustrate the harsh realities of global poverty. We are dedicated to producing high quality videos, presentations, and online resources for students and adults of all ages. By educating others about poverty and the ways in which it can be combated, we hope to engage the American population in our mission to resolve poverty worldwide.

Haiti

Andrew and Matt have maintained their passion for the people of Haiti and are dedicated to making a significant and long-term impact. Since 2010, Poverty Resolutions has sponsored the education of many children, funded and distributed microfinance loans, supported entrepreneurs, and empowered Haitians in a variety of other ways.
